Who We Are
Our Modality
Our program offers Equine Assisted Counseling which is an experiential modality aimed at increasing one's Awareness of Life often encountering topics such as behaviors, communication, relationships, conflict resolution, emotional responses, fears, and more. . This growth and learning program can be a beneficial component in health programs addressing chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders while in treatment or in recovery. Additionally, EAC can be useful to the lay individual, family or act as a team building opportunity. The experiential modality meets the client where they are and allows the focus to be in the present.
Our Treatment Focus
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, and an objective team-approach made up of a Mental Health Professional, Equine Professional and horses.

We trust that whether it be their relationship with the horses or their relationship to people, places, things, or concepts in their lives, clients have their own solutions if just given the opportunity to discover them. By allowing clients to be themselves,

By allowing clients to be themselves, they are able to encounter their life situations and identify solutions to challenging situations.

In this experiential modality the use of horses offers encounters for growth and learning. Participants learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with the horses and then processing (or discussing) thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and patterns. Experiences are structured to offer the participant an opportunity to take initiative, make decisions and be accountable for results.
